Telstra is launching a new high-speed mobile Wi-Fi hotspot to enable Australians to connect multiple mobile devices to the internet when they’re on the go.
The new Telstra Elite® Mobile Wi-Fi – which arrives in-store for Pre-Paid customers on Tuesday 12 April – is Australia’s fastest battery-powered 3G mobile Wi-Fi device and allows people to share internet connectivity with up to five Wi-Fi enabled devices simultaneously wherever there is Next G® coverage.
Warwick Bray, Executive Director Telstra Mobility Products said "Australians increasingly use multiple mobile devices to stay informed, entertained and to work on the go. More than 4 million Australians now use mobile broadband to connect when commuting, to access Facebook at university, and to work flexibly out of the office. Our customers tell us they love the speed and reliability of Next G mobile broadband but they’ve said they’d like an easier way to share it with a greater range of Wi-Fi enabled devices including smartphones, tablets, cameras, laptops and portable games consoles."
